Investigating Sowing Date and Foliar Application of Boron Effects on some Growth and Yield Parameters of Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.)

Abstract This field study was conducted at Almashtal area-Heet District-Anbar province during the summer season 0f 2017 in clay loam soil. The layout a split-plot design with three replicates, sowing times (20 April, 20 June, July) occupy experiment main plots while Boron concentration (0mg L -1 , 100mg 200mg ) occupies subplots. fertilized superphosphate fertilizer (P 2 O 5 %46) ratio of 80 kg.ha and potassium sulfate (K43%) rate 80kg ha before process soil preparation. Also, urea (N46%) added two doses first one planting second after 30 days. Results drawn from this are summarized as follows: Plant height, height capsule, Number leaves per plant, Seeds yield, biological yield decreased delay time by giving 78.1, 22, 238.8, 242, 982kg respectively. While foliar application boron led to an increase seed 541, 2252 kg some characters values such capsule number plant 29.6 cm, 334.8 inthe treatment 200 mg .
